Buying your car or leasing one?

There are several ways to get yourself a new car. Of course the most common way is to save up and buy a car or to take out a car loan for your new vehicle. Hardly anyone will be able to pay the full amount for a new car in one go. So borrowing money is the next best thing, but borrowing always comes at a price. Interest rates soar and eventually a new car will cost you a lot more if you borrow money to buy one.

If you buy a new car you are paying the total cost of your new car after which the car is obviously yours. Car loans often have to be paid back for a very long period of time and by the time that you finish payi8ng for your car, the value of the car has significantly decreased. This is why cars make bad investments. Their worth goes down rapidly.

Leasing a car means that you pay a monthly sum for the use of the car that you are driving. The sum that you pay is made up of a percentage of interest of the price of the car (when the lease company purchased the vehicle), sales tax and a s o-called depreciation charge for the car. This has to be paid because the value of the car decreases when you are using the vehicle.

People often choose the option to lease a car as leasing has a few important benefits. Firstly you are often able to lease and drive a more expensive car than the type of car that you would be able to purchase yourself. The monthly lease payments often turn out to be a lot lower than car loan payments. In the end leasing is a financially safer option and you can end a leasing contract if you do not want or need the vehicle anymore. If owning a car is not important to you and you would like to be able to drive a new car regularly, leasing is the best option for you. You will have the best cars without a car loan.
